WHAT IS THE REAPER RIG?

The Reaper Rig is designed to be used with dead bait such as sardine, mackerels and many others.

Simply slide your dead bait to the rig and lock it in place using the Grim Reaper-inspired scythe and watch it come to life when it hits the water with its hyper realistic swimming motion. Thanks to that super simple attachment mechanism the Reaper Rig is incredibly easy to use.

Re-baiting a trolling rig has never been easier or faster, a significant advantage when the fish are biting.

It is strong, easy to use, fast to re-bait and incredibly effective when it comes to fishing for pelagic species. Designed for small to medium baits in the 15-25cm range.

The Reaper Rig will bring your dead bait such as Pilchards and Slimy Mackerel back to life. The unique design creates a hyper realistic swimming motion that is highly consistent. It’s most effective operating range is 3-5 knots (6-10 km/h) which makes it ideal for trolling behind kayaks, jet skis and boats.

Slim Reaper

The Slim Reaper is perfect for small baits 10-15cm length in size. (the ideal IGFA clip)

The small head and bib provide a discreet design, ideal for when the pelagic fish are finicky or picky. Despite the plastic construction of the head, the 2mm thick stainless steel through rod will keep you attached to the fish after hook-up, no matter how hard the fight.
It can be rigged with ganged single j-hooks, multiple trebles (stingers), or a combination of singles and trebles to suit your bait length.

Available in 5 colours: Pink, Pearl White, Clear with Silver Fleck, Orange and Blue with Silver Fleck

XL (Boni) Reaper

The Reaper Rig XL will make trolling big dead baits (such as bonito) a breeze with a consistent swimming action that any big predator will find irresistible. The Grim Reaper inspired scythe locks the bait in place in seconds, and after you’ve attached your hooks you are ready to troll between 3-5 knots. Suits baits 30-45cm (11-18 inches).

The Reaper Rig XL will dive to around 2-4m (7 to 13 feet) depending on speed and set back distance.

HEAD START RIG

The HEAD START is a quick-rigging system for ballyhoo, squid and other bait fish. The HEAD START gives dead bait a very natural swimming action which attracts game fish strikes at a variety of trolling speeds. The system was designed for ballyhoo, but all over the world fisherman are rigging it with a variety of baits in both salt and fresh water.

Molded of polycarbonate, the HEAD START has been awarded a U.S. patent for its unique through-the-eye locking system. This creative system ensures that the bait does not spin, which prevents line twists and tangles. Both the DIVER and the SURFACE RUNNER give any bait an exciting action, resulting in more strikes and with the hook located in the tail of the bait fish, more hook-ups.
